I am writing this review as Mother of the Bride. After having been to a number of Bridal shops we decided to visit Proposals and I am SO glad that we did. Clare, Katy and their girls could not have done more to have made each and every visit to the shop (and there were LOTS!) special. We only had 16 weeks and the attitude from most of the other shops was 'no way' - yet Proposals not only managed to get us the dress my daughter wanted but got it substantially 'changed' too! So that we felt we actually had our own bespoke dress. We got our 3 bridesmaid dresses from them too and again they could not have been more accommodating, espcially with our little 18 month old. Finally, when I mentioned how difficult I was finding it to get a MOB outfit, they game up trumps for me too and we found a bridesmaid outfit which they supplied and altered to make it suitable for a mother of the bride, not to mention designing and making me a jacket to match! I have read through some of the previous reviews and find it hard to believe that the person above is talking about the same shop. We visited the shop many times in 13 weeks and never felt as though we were a nuisance and we never, ever felt pressured into spending more money. As for her comment about sizing - surely a 10 in one shop can easily be a 12 or even a 14 in another? I have always understood that its not the size but the measurements that matter and as far as we are concerned they were spot on (with minor tweaking) with 5 of us! Thank you Proposals, you made our daughter so happy for her special day! .
